Our Team

Jamshedpur Chess Academy is a non-profit organization established in the year 2008 with the objectives of identify, educate, trained and support the budding chess talents across various sections of society in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand. To address the prime objective of academy; time to time JCA has organized several quality and professionally managed chess tournaments to develop and horn the skill of chess players across multiple levels.

In the pursuance of organization vision; In near future as well JCA is committed to continue with same passion and endeavor with the hope that the forthcoming tournaments will provide excellent platform to amateurs as well as professional players to exhibit their skill and opportunity to interact with international and national talent which indeed will bring the radical change and paradigm shift in the chess landscape of the Jharkhand State.

  • Jamshedpur Chess Academy (JCA) is a non-profit organization registered under society registration Act, 21 1860, vide Society Registration No.72 of 2012-13 dated, Ranchi, 16.07.2012.
  • Jamshedpur Chess Academy is also affiliated to East Singhbhum District Chess Association.
  • JCA possess a PAN Baring No.AABAJ3208K and has been filing the ITR from F.Y.2012-13 onwards.
  • Obtained a letter from Income Tax Department, Jamshedpur that academy has now been Regd. u/s 12A/AA with Income Tax Department, Jamshedpur w.e.f. Financial Year 2014-15 vide Memo No. CIT/Tech/Jsr/12A-28/2014-15/2401-03 dated, Jamshedpur, 12.08.2014.
  • Acquired a letter from Income Tax Department, Jamshedpur certified to issue deduction Certificate U/s 80(G)(5)(vi) of I.T. Act 1961 w.e.f. Financial Year 2014-15 vide Memo No.CIT/Tech/Jsr/80G-19/2014-15/2830-32 dated, Jamshedpur, 10.09.2014 to the Donor.

FIDE Arbiter Seminar :

Mr. Deepak Kumar and Mr. Prabhat Ranjan Kumar attended the FIDE Arbiter Seminar and successfully completed the examination held and qualified. They both have got norms and are FIDE Arbiters at present. Mr. Chandan Kumar Prasad became Senior National Arbiter in 2020.
